something in the woods
Happened many years ago
In woods lost to time
Where man shouldn’t go

Sent to observe
With camera in hand
The were no birds
There were no bears
But Something was there
And Something found him

Now Deep inside
The woods stayed quiet
He tried to get out
But he lost his way

Stalked by Something
Videotaped his way
Stopped at night to rest
But Something woke him

He saw Something
He had to run away
Because he saw
Something was not a man

In the morning he looked again
For a way out
To get out
But there was none

He dropped his camera
As he picked it up
Something stood behind him
And he was never seen again
